Intel® RAID Controller SRCSASJV
Powered by LSI MegaRAID® Technology

The Intel® RAID Controller SRCSASJV is one in a family of Intel first-generation RAID solutions to use RAID-On-Chip (ROC) technology. The SRCSASJV is also highly flexible. An important feature is the high-performance multi-plexer (MUX) which allows configuring of eight ports for internal or external use, or both. Solutions can be built for up to 240 disks, using high-performance SAS drives or high-capacity SATA drives-or a combination of each.

Benefits for SMB

  • Exceptional data protection. Supports all key RAID levels including RAID 6 and 60, which maintain data integrity even during simultaneous failure of two drives−particularly important with SATA drives.
  • Higher performance. The latest ROC technology and 667 MHz cache delivers over 1.5 GB/s throughput to excel in situations requiring high I/O, such as streaming video or data back-up.
  • Outstanding availability. Delivers proactive drive monitoring, automatic error correction, and hot-spare support. An optional battery backup unit or portable cache module maintains data without the need for an uninterruptible power supply.
  • Increased IT productivity. Includes a suite of tools that are common across multiple Intel RAID solutions, for easy installation and advanced management.
  • Flexibility. A common RAID controller supports varying systems requirements including configurable support for internal RAID, external RAID, or both.

Intel® RAID Controller SRCSASRB
Powered by LSI MegaRAID® Technology

The Intel® RAID Controller SRCSASRB is one in a family of Intel first-generation RAID solutions to use RAID-On-Chip (ROC) technology. The SRCSASRB is also highly flexible. An important feature is the high-performance multiplexer (MUX) which allows configuring of eight ports for internal or external use, or both. Solutions can be built for up to 240 disks, using high-performance SAS disks or high-capacity SATA drives−or a combination of each.

Benefits for SMB

  • Exceptional data protection. Supports data redundancy using SAS or SATA hard disk drives through mirroring, parity, and double parity (RAID levels 1, 5, and 6) plus striping capability for spans (RAID levels 10, 50, and 60).
  • Excellent performance. ROC technology directly connected to 256 MB embedded 667 MHz cache enhances the performance of mainstream applications.
  • Outstanding availability. Delivers proactive drive monitoring and automatic error correction. An optional battery backup maintains data without the need for an uninterruptible power supply.
  • Increased IT productivity. Includes a suite of tools that are common across multiple Intel RAID solutions, for easy installation and advanced management.
  • SAS/SATA flexibility. Features eight internal 3 GB/s Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) ports on two SFF8087 mini connectors, and is designed for high-performance SAS disks, low-cost/high-capacity SATA drives, or a combination of both.

Intel® RAID Controller SRCSATAWB
Powered by LSI MegaRAID® Technology

The Intel® RAID Controller SRCSATAWB is one in a family of Intel first-generation RAID solutions to use RAID-On-Chip (ROC) technology, delivering state-of-the-art power and performance. Designed for solutions using low cost, high capacity SATA hard drives, the SRCSATAWB bring features typically found in higher-end RAID solutions, such as RAID 6 and expander-based backplane support to small and medium-sized business users.

Through the use of double parity, RAID 6 delivers data protection even in the case of two simultaneous hard drive failures−a scenario far too common during the stressing of SATA hard disk drives. The SRCSATAWB is built on SAS technology, so it is compatible with the same software stack as Intel's SAS ROC-based solutions. The SRCSATAWB also supports drive bays with expander-based backplanes and up to 16 hot-swap drives.

SMB Benefits

  • Enhanced data protection. Supports data redundancy using SATA hard disk drives through mirroring, parity, and double parity (RAID levels 1, 5, and 6) plus striping capability for spans (RAID levels 10, 50, and 60).
  • Powerful and cost effective. Includes the same ROC technology and Intel RAID software as higher price cards, with features optimized for budget friendly entry-level SATA solutions.
  • Excellent availability. Delivers proactive drive monitoring and automatic error correction. An optional battery backup maintains data without the need for an uninterruptible power supply.
  • Support for expander-based backplanes. With a SAS-derivative design, the SRCSATAWB allows for hot-swap SATA drives with active backplanes and up to 16 hard disk drives.
  • Increased IT productivity. Includes a suite of tools that are common across multiple Intel RAID solutions for easy installation and advanced management.
